Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

For the most part, very good. It is a buffet so if you go during "off" times you may see they are out or low on something but I haven't had any real issues with it. I like their Sushi, it's quite plain and simple. Their broccoli and chicken is very good and so are their egg foo young.

Delivery was fast. We DID get an email confirmation. Online ordering is convenient. The food was all good. We shared 6 dishes and I sampled each one. Not a single complaint from me or my party. All made fresh. I ordered a large crab rangoon and got three pieces. Either a mistake or bad value. But they were still good. Egg drop soup is very good. We'll definitely order again.

This is a very typical buffet by most accounts. Naturally, while trying a little bit of everything, half of it ended up being blah and the other half was decent. Nothing really stood out or made me want to return the next time we're in town. In all honesty, this place would probably be getting a very average three star rating if it were not for the last five minutes of our visit. After a couple of plates, my girlfriend and I decided to head over to the dessert bar to try some of it. We figured we'd just split a small plate. They had a tray full of cream puffs. That is, of course... they were labeled cream puffs and looked like cream puffs. Urgh. We put two on the plate (along with one other thing I can't remember) and headed back to the table. We each took a bite at the same time. Needless to say, our reactions couldn't have possibly been similar. I bit into it expecting a light crusty covering and a cool, sweet whipped cream taste. ... Nope. The outside was dense as a rock and stale and the inside was this lukewarm, hellish symphony of old curdled butterscotch and oozy turned cream. I don't mean to be unnecessarily disgusting, but... it was rather akin to having a boil burst into your mouth. Once the stale crust broke you were stuck with all this disgusting goo coating your teeth and tongue. ... Ugh, I'm still nauseated thinking about it. After both of us almost tossed our cookies right there, we promptly left. The moral of the story is.... If you go there, don't get the damn dessert. Really.

This place would be great if they have actual extra food ready or at least coming off the gill. By the way they are hiring, not sure what the pay salary is but hey a job is a job. Now back to the service, they are polite.

I am not normally one to complain, but the service was so terrible here that I decided to come on yelp to warn others... My fiancé and I ordered a simple Chicken & Broccoli Lo-Mein + Shrimp.... It's an actual menu item and at the bottom of the menu it says you can add shrimp for $5 extra... So we did... Shouldn't be rocket science right? Well we were told 30-45mim for delivery, about an hour and 45min later the food arrived (cold of course) and we still tipped 40% We get it inside and there is literally ONE piece of shrimp.... Really? One piece of shrimp? That's the extra shrimp add-on? One piece? So I call the restaurant and explain to them the issue and they said no problem and that they would credit us $5 on our next order. Fine. Pissed but acceptable. Fast forward 30min (by this time it's 10:00pm) the cook at jade garden calls us to flat out tell me that I'm lieing and that he put the "multiple" pieces of shrimp in the meal himself! I'm like... Really? Your gonna call me at 10pm to tell me I'm lieing about a $5 add on of extra shrimp? He's like "well that's exactly what I'm doing, and your not getting your $5 credit" I was stunned. Never in my life have I had such a rude interaction with an employee. After approx. 10 more minutes of back and forth, he admitted that the delivery driver could have possibly went into the meal and eaten the extra shrimp pieces as they have had issues with that in the past. Needless to say I will NEVER eat at Jade Garden again, and I hope anyone reading this review would think twice about doing so as well!

Delivery took an hour and 15 min to deliver. Also the Moo Shoo Pork was a lot more cabbage than pork. Poor service and average food at best.

I have ordered delivery from here a few times and always got my favorite, General Tsos. I like it pretty spicy and after getting no kick from it the first few times I asked for it extra spicy expecting to maybe have over-done it. I got it and it was even less spicy then ever before. Probably giving up on this place due to all of the other options in Eau Claire.

Food is okay but the service is definitely sub-par. Every time I have ordered delivery, it has taken at least 30 minutes longer than the estimated 45-60, and to me, waiting 90 minutes for mediocre food is unacceptable. Don't order from here unless you are not hungry now, but will be in 2 hours.

I mean, compared to other options in Eau Claire, it's okay...but compared to Chinese elsewhere, it's a bit below average. Edible, affordable and when it's the only place that delivers and you're craving Chinese, it's works. The moo shu is the best thing I've had....other stuff is just not very flavorful (let alone authentic) - orange chicken is sweet and not at all spicy despite what the menu says. Dumplings are dense and gross. Crab rangoons had no discernible crab meat. Fried rice- meh. So ultimately, if you've gotta have Chinese, it might be your only delivery option (and you can order online which is nice). But I wish it were better.

The food here is great for delivery, but they don't tell you how long it will take to be delivered. No email saying the approximately delivery time or phone call to let us know. We ordered our food at 7:41 PM, and it is now 8:46 PM, and we are still waiting. This is very frustrating. Give us a time frame people!!! Good food, crappy service.

Our favorite in EC and am happy when we can have it delivered.

If you've been to one Chinese Buffet in Eau Claire you've been to them all. Most days it's excellent but some days you wonder if their moo sho is made from an old sneaker. ;) Overall good though. $1 off lunch or $3 off 2 dinners at chippewavalleycoupons.com :D

Typical Chinese buffet, probably the best that's around in Eau Claire (that I know of, at least). Nothing too impressive about this place.

I know that you can't expect much from a Chinese buffet, buy we were in the mood for a good variety and not too picky about it. We were smart enough to avoid the raw sushi, but not smart enough to leave when we saw how empty it was. We'd been to Jade Garden before and it hit the spot, and they have some tasty dishes. The peanut chicken, garlic green beans, barbecue pork ribs, and egg rolls are good. But some of them didn't seem quite warm enough, and sure enough, we both got food poisoning within an hour. I missed work and, even worse, had to admit it was because I ate at a Chinese buffet!

Typical japanese buffet. Has ok food, usually sitting out for a while, if you see a new item come out fresh snag it up quick and you will enjoy the food. Price is little high for the quality, around $9.50 a person, they do have lunch specials though. Overall just another Asian buffet, nothing special to write home about.

Clean, clean, clean.................staff is very attentive to the food and the patrons......... My son is a bit of a germ-o-phob and he loves this place!!!! I rest my case....

Really really good chinese food, there's also one in Madison. This one is great, my go-to chinese take-out/delivery. Plus when you order online, you can put in any specific needs, like allergies and "do not let this touch that". They also deliver to the UWEC campus, which is fantastic!
